North Macedonia is against the possible return of the Serbian army to the territory of Kosovo.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova, Bujar Osmani, told Kosova Press that he supports the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and the reaching of an agreement with mutual recognition.

“Kosovo has been prevented from joining until now by the lack of consensus, and I also called during the conference in Podgorica when we took the presidency that this year Kosovo should definitely join this charter, and our idea is on the 20th anniversary of the foundation to offer a new strategic concept, what now with the Euro-Atlantic ambitions of the region, because if four of the five countries have already joined, it means that the preliminary goal of the A5 idea has been realized.

Now we have to create a new strategic concept, what do we do with Kosovo in NATO, what do we do with Bosnia and Herzegovina in NATO, and what will NATO’s relationship with Serbia be, and we intend to come up with a concept during our presidency, a clear strategic plan on what the priorities should be and in what dynamics this platform will need to do its work, of course, placing emphasis on Kosovo’s membership in NATO”, he emphasized.

Among other things, Osmani underlined that they have followed with concern the developments in the North, where the Serbs set up barricades and created tensions in that part of the state.
