“The Republic of Kosovo is the result of the highest act of its newest generation of elected representatives, whose names are read alongside the signatures on the Declaration of the Republic of Kosovo, signed on February 17, 2008, by 109 deputies of the Assembly of the Republic, as well as by the state leaders of that time: President Fatmir Sejdiu, Assembly Speaker Jakup Krasniqi, and Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi,” Kurti stated.

He further emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo is the home of its peoplea home for Albanians and the ethnic minorities living in the country.
