In a statement for the press, the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj expressed his delight for the victory of SP in administrative division no. 10.

Veliaj thanked the media for the undivided commitment in reporting on the ongoing developments of the process and added that they were getting ready for victory in all 42 divisions in Tirana.

“We share the same opinion with our colleagues of the opposition that our elections yesterday were excellent and we also share the same opinion that we need to accept the end result and we share the same opinion with them that there’s no time to waste, including counters,” – said the mayor.

At the end of his word, Veliaj said that the Socialist Party is maximally committed to working long hours, keeping in mind that the sooner the process closes and the more correct the counting process is, the sooner can work for the country recommence.

While thanking those that chose to vote for the Socialist Party, Veliaj emphasized that he will humbly serve those that share differing political beliefs.
