During a statement from the headquarters of DP, the leader of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha said that the Socialist Party is experiencing a heavy defeat in these elections.

DP’s leader emphasized that the ballot stations that are being chosen for counting, are specifically being selected because they are left-wing strongholds.

“The first ballot stations being counted are selected by the party in power as they are in favor of the party in power. Having said that, SP has lost overwhelmingly in the ballot stations in Tirana and in the centers in Permet, Kelcyra and Memaliaj that are now closed. We are looking at a heavy defeat for SP and an incline for DP and the coalition for change,” stated the leader of DP.

“They have been punished in zone no. 10 in Tirana, where DP has increased by 30%. The time will come for the other boxes, as well,” said the head of DP.
