A conflict arose from representatives of the main political parties, namely SP, DP SMI at one of the ballots counting centers in the city of Vlora.

Euronews Albania correspondent Ebrieta Macaj said that representatives from the SMI called foul play as a number of ballots, which were at first considered invalid, were then credited to the Socialist Party.

The first to denounce the alleged violation was Griselda Myslymi, one of SMI’s candidates running in Vlora.

Euronews Albania journalists have reached for a comment from the Socialist Party to understand how the incident unfolded.
