The recent survey conducted by Euronews Albania and the prestigious company MRB, released on April 19, is strikingly similar to the results published so far.
The survey claimed that nationwide, the SP would receive 48.5% of the votes, while currently the Socialists are at 48.86%.
Regarding the Democratic Party, the survey predicted that it would get 41.5%. As of 5 PM, the Democrats are at 39.3%.
Similarly, according to the survey the Socialist Movement for Integration would receive 6.5% of the votes. On a country scale, this political force currently stands at 6.95%.
“It is a prediction that it has been proved in practice until now”, said Neritan Sejamini, host of Euronews Albania’s weekly show “Me Pak Fjalë”.
Adri Nurellari, an analyst, said he feared that people were afraid to express their honest opinion which in turn would have led to the failure of the entire findings.
“In Albania, there are many hesitant people. When I was young and doing surveys, I’d see people hesitating”.
“The fact that behavior corresponds to the opinion indicates that our society is more relaxed and freer”, he added.
Dimitris Mavros, the director of MRB said that the decision to conduct face-to-face interviews was taken exactly after considering this hesitation factor.
