The counting of ballots in the Kukes district has ended with a victory for the Democratic Party, according to data from the CEC.
The largest opposition party gained 24,071 votes or 62.27% of the total, the Socialist Party 35.84%, and the Social-Democratic Party 0.47% of votes.
In terms of parliamentary seats, the DP will get 2 and SP 1 of the total 3.
Kukes is the smallest district in Albania, with only 141 polling stations, and the first to finish ballot counting.
