During the entire course of the day yesterday, 92 CEAZs have continued counting the ballots for party candidates. In various electoral districts, counting has continued at a steady pace, being interrupted yesterday night at 00:00 and resumed today at 09:00 a.m.
These are the first elections in Albania, where voters had the chance to vote for the candidate, as well as the party. Through this new change in the electoral code, the list of candidates predetermined by the leader of the party, can now change depending on the votes each one was able to receive.
But what has happened until now? In the electoral district of Shkoder, there has been a surprise for the Socialist Party, where Benet Beci is in the lead with more than 3 000 votes, followed by Paulin Sterkaj with around 2 500 votes.
Another interesting detail is the fact that PM Rama is ranked 8th in the list of Vlora and has now passed the threshold with a large number of votes, 10.660.
The list of favorite candidates in Tirana for the Democratic Party is led by the leader of FRPD Belind Kellici with 883 votes, led by Lulzim Basha with 279, Agron Shehaj with 193 votes, Orjela Nebijaj 155, Sali Berisha with 98 votes.
