The US ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim has reacted regarding the announcement by SPAK, which announced that proceedings has started on 33 cases that are linked with the denouncements of April 25th’s elections.
Through a reaction on her Twitter account, US ambassador Kim emphasizes that whoever impedes citizen’s right to vote should be criminally prosecuted.
“Very good to see SPAK’s announcement of investigations of electoral crimes. I understand Prosecutors will do the same. Those who violate the law and obstruct citizens’ right to vote freely and in peace must be prosecuted. No one is above the law,” wrote the ambassador on Twitter.
