The US Embassy in Tirana has conveyed a message to American citizens regarding the protest planned by the opposition, which is expected to be held this Monday afternoon.
In its communiqué, the embassy advises its personnel to avoid participating in this demonstration and suggests American citizens to be vigilant by monitoring local media for the latest information.
American citizens have also been advised to follow the instructions of the Albanian authorities to minimize the risk during the protest.
The protest will take place near the Prime Minister’s Office at 18:00, and it is expected that there will be an increased police presence, road closures and traffic disruptions.
