Ministry of Health denies claims that schools will shut down

Recently on social media has been circulating a claim that schools will close soon, which has caused confusion among students and parents.

According to this claim, all education institutions will be ordered to close on November 11.

The document that has been circulating has also a stamp from the Health Ministry and it says that schools will be closed for at least 3 weeks due to a rise of infections.

Euronews Albania sent an official inquiry to the Ministry of Health on the veracity of these claims.

According to the authority, this is a false claim and educational institutions will remain open.

The source of this fake story, which was widely shared on social media, remains unknown.
