The US Ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim, met today with the acting president of the Constitutional Court, as well as head of the Justice Appointments Council, Vitore Tusha.

Ambassador Kim said that now that the court is functional, it should resume the evaluation of “important files” pending.

One of the most important cases pending the court’s verdict is about local elections that took place without the opposition.

Currently, the court has seven judges, while two other posts remain vacant.
