World-renowned singer, songwriter, and three times Grammy Award winner Dua Lipa is in Albania to join an initiative launched by the Municipality of Tirana called “Adopt a Kindergarten”.

The Albanian singer from Kosovo left her imprint at kindergarten no.42, one of the many that were severely damaged by the earthquake that struck the country in November 2019.

“The kindergarten will be very beautiful and I am very proud that Sunny Hill Foundation is a part of it. Let’s see better things for our country. I am very proud to be Albanian”, said Dua in her native language.

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, said that the project will bring the kindergarten back to life according to European standards.

“We choose this kindergarten that is right in the heart center of Tirana. It will have 300 kids. I hope they all become successful and shine like you do, as I believe that when children are raised well, they become good citizens”, said Veliaj.
