In a brief communication with the media, the head of the largest opposition party Lulzim Basha responded to accusations made earlier by Sali Berisha that he is “being held hostage by Edi Rama”.

Basha declared that for eight years in a row, Rama has accused him of being “Berisha’s puppet”, while yesterday Berisha called him “a hostage of Edi Rama”.

“The first is a lie, the second one will never happen”, Basha added.

According to Basha, the Democrats will continue to work on toppling the Socialists.

“The Democratic Party’s assembly will not convene to judge over the decisions of the American administration”, said Basha.
