Democratic MP, Kreshink Collaku and geopolitics experts, Teuta Vodo went back and forth on the ‘Open Balkan’ initiative.

According to Collaku, Rama has severely damaged Kosovo’s reputation in the global arena by promoting Vucic, as a “knight of cooperation in the Balkans”.

He continued by saying that, in the name of petty interests, he publically slandered all of Kosovo’s main political figures from Isa Mustafa, Ramush Haradinaj and Albin Kurti.

“Everyone called Rama a traitor, but in fact Rama is a trader. You’ll see that Rama will eventually get close to Albin Kurti because Kurti has gotten close to Washington,” he added.

The Democratic MP also claimed that if ‘Albania wishes to really help Kosovo, the only thing left doing that could have a real impact is opting from the Open Balkan initiative at least until Serbia recognizes Kosovo”.

In addition, Teuta Vodo gave her take saying that the Open Balkan initiative has been misunderstood. She admitted that “from an economic point of view, it favors Serbia, but this doesn’t necessarily create hegemony”.

“Rama is only promoting the interests of his own country and this initiative was nothing short of interesting. Kosovo was more than welcome to join but didn’t,” – said Vodo.
