A joint meeting between the two governments of Albania and Kosovo is taking place today in the city of Elbasan.
According to the agenda, the opening ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m., and it will be followed by the opening remarks of both prime ministers, Edi Rama and Albin Kurti.
At 11:20 a.m., the meeting will continue with an official signing ceremony of the intergovernmental agreements and at 11:30, there will be a joint press conference.
Amongst the agreements expected to be signed today, there is the waiver of requirements for a temporary residence permit for citizens of both countries, the recognition of social security, and other facilitations in regards to customs procedures.
This is the 7th official bilateral meeting between our governments and the first meeting between Rama-Kurti governments.
