US ambassador meets with High Court chief justice

US ambassador to Albania, Yuri Kim held a meeting this Friday, with the chief justice of the High Court, Sokol Sadushi.

The ambassador said that she and Sadushi discussed the cases that are awaiting trial at this Court.

Yuri Kim stated that the US is willing to offer technical help in order to speed up this process.

In addition, the ambassador declared that they’ve talked about appointing new judges in order to substitute the ones that didn’t pass the vetting system.

‘We talked about the next steps in appointing new, qualified judges as the vetting process continues,” – wrote the ambassador on Twitter.
