Injured Polish hiker rescued from Gjipe Canyon

Albanian police helped rescue on Friday a young Polish hiker who fell while hiking in the Gjipe Canion.

The 24-year old man was stranded in the canyon after falling from a cliff and injuring his leg.

He was rescued from the cliffs with the help of Albanian hiker Kosta Xhaho.

He was then transported to the nearest hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
