Former PM Sali Berisha reiterated on Saturday his stance where he opposes the Open Balkan initiative, as according to him it is an alliance at the service of Greater Serbia.

During his word at the National Assembly, Berisha said the initiative also enhances Russian influence in the region.

“We will never accept Open Balkan, an alliance which completely contributes to creating Greater Serbia. An alliance that completely serves to boost Russian influence in the region”, he said.

Berisha warned that if Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic makes any effort to destabilize Kosovo he will be met with the reaction of the Albanian nation, as a single entity.
