Wednesday 6 PM civil society groups will return to protest against increased prices.

Citizens will march from Skanderbeg Square towards the Prime Minister’s Office to raise their voice against high food prices and other essential products.

Activist Bora Mema said the move comes at a time when “a majority of people cannot afford the most basic products”.

According to her the government has “failed” with its transparency board schemes and failed to find a solution to the citizens’ daily problems.

The activist added that the government has allocated a great chunk of the budget for concessionary firms and PPPs.
