2 dead due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours in Albania

The ministry of health has published its latest report in the past 24 hours, detailing the current epidemiologic situation in the country.

2 citizens have died as a result of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. A 59-year-old from Vlora and a 93-year-old from Tirana.

Meanwhile, from 442 tests conducted nationwide, 147 citizens were newly confirmed to have contracted the virus.

At the moment, there are 3640 active COVID patients in the entire country, 23 of whom have been hospitalized.

441 citizens were able to successfully recover in the past 24 hours, bringing the total known number of recoveries since the beginning of the pandemic to 275 693.
