Over 21 thousand citizens faced issues that led them to the criminal justice system in 2021.

Based on data from the cases submitted to our First Instance Courts, over 11 thousand rulings were issued, 76% of which constituted serious crimes and 23% constituted discrepancies that were issued fines instead of prison time.

Of all lawsuits submitted, only 15 000 were taken into consideration by the court.

Crimes against the state, public security, and property made up the majority of cases evaluated by our courts in 2021.
