Member of the European Parliament Lukas Mandl spoke about the Russian influence on the Balkans and Europe, Serbia’s position in this situation and the future of the Western Balkans.

According to Mandl, Russian disinformation in Europe intends to weaken and divide Europe and Europeans.

When it comes to Serbia, the MEP said that this country is losing all chances to stay on the right side of history.

Mandl was also asked about northern Mitrovica and the ‘Republika Srpska’.

“I will always contribute to having an international unity of the free world, which continues to ensure Kosovo’s safety and its sovereignty and this is the reason why I hope that we can avoid fuŕther tensions and violance of any kind. I still hope that Serbia will walk on a positive road and that it will open the door of EU integration for itself and 6 other Western Balkan nations,” – said  Mandl.
