Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said on Wednesday that Serbia does not want mutual recognition with Kosovo.

His statement came while answering journalist questions after the inauguration of the Belgrade bypass.

Vucic said mutual recognition is what the EU wants, but added that Serbia is entitled to have its own opinion on the matter, reported N1.

“Mutual recognition is their wish, we don’t want that, and let everyone do their job, they are important, but we can have an opinion… We can,” said Vucic.

His statement comes in response to the EP Report on Serbia which mentioned for the first time that the final bilateral agreement must involve “mutual recognition” of the two countries.
