The EU Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue declared that they are working on having more high-level leaders’ meetings.
In a press conference, Miroslav Lajcak said the moment has come for Kurti and Vucic to meet more often.
“After this conference, I will be heading north, for the first time. I will visit the border crossings and other things that are part of the dialogue agenda. I will also meet with the regional leaders there and then continue to Belgrade”, he said.
“Let’s give a boost to existing policies, accelerate the job done by working groups. The fate of 1,621 people is still ambiguous. I will not stop until all of them are found”, he added.
Resolving the fate of more than 1600 persons still missing is urgent. All loved ones – no matter of their ethnicity – deserve closure. This is why I visited the Documentation Center, met with the Missing Persons Resource Center and attended the screening of 🎥“Water and Candles” pic.twitter.com/3CLgrJCc0G

In regards to visa liberalization, he reiterated Kosovo has fulfilled all the conditions and deserves free movement.
“I fully understand how delicate this issue is for you. Kosovo deserves visa liberalization and you’ve fulfilled all the criteria. I’m using every opportunity to talk about this with member states. I cannot say when it will happen, but attention has never been greater before”.
