An unprecedented situation in these elections has occurred in Livine village in Finiq, Sarande, 276km from Tirana. The ballot box from this village was found to be opened and was classified as invalid.

About 900 people had the right to vote in this village, but only 95 ballot papers were found in the box, Euronews Albania Viktor Avdiaj reported.

The rest of the unused ballot papers were not found.

An investigation is expected to be launched into commissioners in this polling station.
