The number of new COVID-19 infections has considerably dropped with only 69 new cases confirmed on Monday, as well as one death.

Currently, there are 147 patients being treated in the hospital, of which 12 in intensive therapy.

The death toll from the beginning of the pandemic has reached 2.379.

Active infections have also decreased with authorities estimating around 21,700 across the country, although almost 16,700 are in the capital, Tirana.
