The political leader of the Democratic Party for the county of Durres, Edi Paloka, said that DP’s victory will be affirmed after ballots are counted.

“We just concluded the analysis of our projections for the district of Durres and I want to say that this is a major victory for Durres. It is a major victory for Albania. It is time to visualize and project our future”, he said.

Paloka reiterated that he fully believes that the counting process will continue at a normal rate and that their victory is only a matter of time.

“I am convinced that the process will be accurate and according to all procedures, and at the end, victory will be confirmed”, said Paloka.

Albania’s largest political parties, the Socialists and the Democrats, have already started proclaiming results although ballots have not been counted yet.
