The European Parliament rapporteur on the dialogue with Moscow Andrius Kubilius declared that Serbia must make a choice when it comes to its foreign policy.
According to Kubilius, who has also served as Lithuania’s prime minister, Serbia faces two choices: either continue its relations with Russian President Vladimir Putin or get closer to the European Union.
“[Serbia] must either continue its ties with Putin’s regime, whom many call a fascist, or Serbia must move in the direction of the policies of the European Union, in supporting Ukraine and opposing the regime of the Russian presidency and seeing the chances of another Russia after him”, Kubilius told Serbian media N1.
Kubilius emphasized that EU aspiring countries, including here Serbia, need to be on the same line with the bloc’s policies.
