The former Deputy Minister of the Interior, Elona Gjebrea, said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the contribution of Albanians to Great Britain is indisputable.
According to her, the perception of ordinary English people about Albanians is not the one that is usually presented in the media.
“I did my doctorate in Britain and I lived there for a long time, I know the British mentality to some extent, they have some special characteristics. If you meet ordinary people, you will find this kind of language, so I think it is a matter of the perception of a certain class”, said Gjebrea.
