Kosovo’s PM Kurti: Those who gained from the demolition of the theater today, will lose tomorrow

The acting Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti has denounced the demolition of the National Theatre in Tirana as an act “that was done for the interest of a particular few”, while calling for resistance as “those who win today, will lose tomorrow”.

PM Kurti instead that parties must be defending their culture, recalling earlier acts when monuments of culture were ravaged by Serbs, dictatorships as well as deep rooted institutional corruption.

“My support goes to all the artists and citizens of Tirana which have defended the National Theatre for so long”, adding that “resistance is what goes down in history”.
