Head of the White House, Joe Biden asked Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic to recognize the independence of Kosovo.

Through a letter sent for the occasion of the National Day of Serbia, Biden called upon the achievement of an all-inclusive agreement between Belgrade and Prishtina so that both states can normalize their relations based on mutual recognition.

“We remain firm in our support for Serbia’s EU membership approval, as well as in the implementation of reforms and the achievement of a comprehensive normalization agreement with Kosovo, which is focused on mutual recognition,” wrote President Biden.

Among other thing, Biden congratulated Vucic on Serbia’s Statehood Day and expressed America’s willingness to strengthen bilateral relations with Serbia.
