According to the announcement, during the ceremony for the establishment of diplomatic ties on February 1st 2021, the Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gabriel Ashkenazi unveiled the plaque of the Republic of Kosovo’s Embassy in Jerusalem.
While the decision to establish Kosovo’s embassy in Jerusalem was applauded by the US, it was rejected by the EU, which continues to consider Jerusalem’s status unresolved.
