COVID-19 takes lives of 10, in Kosovo

The tendency of the COVID-19 pandemic in Kosovo remains concerning and a daily challenge for local health authorities. The National Public Health Institute stated that in the past 24 hours, ten patients infected with the coronavirus have unfortunately lost their lives.

Epidemiologists have conducted 3922 tests, out of which 705 were confirmed to be positive. Since the onset of the pandemic, Kosovo counts 1 786 victims.

The most affected municipalities were the following: Prishtina 320 active case, Lipjan 50, Fushe-Kosova 41, Prizren 37 and Gjakova 30.

Despite a rise in infection rates, Kosovo still hasn’t been able to secure a single dose of the anti-COVID vaccine.
