The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, will meet today with presidential candidate Vjosa Osmani.

The meeting set to take place at 2 PM will seek to clarify the party’s stance with Osmani.

Several party members have voiced their support for Osmani, including staying in the assembly in order to arrive at the necessary majority.

One of them is MP Valentina Bunjaku-Rexhepi who has openly stated her support for presidential candidate Vjosa Osmani.

Earlier on, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Vjosa Osmani met with leaders of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo and the Democratic Party, while the latter has already confirmed that they will not vote for Osmani.

In question are the 10 votes coming from Serb List, who expressed their resent after receiving only one ministerial post in the Kurti administration and threatened to take the matter to the Constitutional Court.

If parties fail to find a common language and choose the new president, the country may be heading into another election.
