The majority of Albanians think that the government’s decision to increase the price of energy, only for household consumers who exceed the threshold of 800 KW, is not effective at all.

Barometer findings show that 37% of Albanians think that this decision is not effective at all, 19% think that it is somewhat effective, 18.2% of them are neutral with their answers and 8.7% think that this decision is very effective.

Taking into account the level of Albania’s economy, the citizens were asked by the Barometer if the decision to protect Albanians from the energy crisis is within the government’s capabilities.

53.1% of them think that the government has done less than the possibilities it has, 31% think that the government has as many possibilities and 10.4% of them think that the government has done more than the possibilities it has.

However, Albanians do not even trust the Opposition, that the latter would better solve the energy crisis.

According to the Barometer survey, 29.4% of citizens think that even the Opposition would not be effective in terms of the measures it would take to protect family members from the increase in energy prices. 21.7% of them think that they would be a little effective, 19.6% think that they would be somewhat effective, while 20.1% do not know how effective they would be.
