MPs representing Tirana at the new legislative branch

The Socialist Party (48.67%) won the electoral district of Tirana with around 44,500 votes ahead of the Democratic Party (39.12%), while the numbers of the Socialist Movement for Integration, (SMI) (5.99%) shrunk quite a bit. SMI only received double the number of votes received by the Social-Democratic Party (2.84%) – click here to see results in our live interactive map.

In regards to votes received by candidates, only Fatmir Xhafaj and Ornaldo Rakipi were able to surpass the quotient and jump ahead in the list from the initial spot assigned to them by their party leaders. They left Tirana’s SP leader, Ervin Bushati and MP Fidel Ylli out of the parliament.

This is the preliminary list of candidates that have won in Tirana, as CEC has yet to certify the results, depending on contests that could arise from particular political groups.
