The Socialist Party (55.21%) won the electoral district of Elbasan with around 28 thousand votes ahead of the Democratic Party (37.06%), whereas the Socialist Movement for Integration, (SMI) (4.41%) only received half of the votes, which rendered it impossible for them to obtain a mandate in this district, – click here to see results in the interactive map.
The 14 electoral votes of the district of Elbasan will be distributed as follows:
As Taulant Balla turned out to be the most voted candidate on a national level, Luçiano Boçi is the only candidate of DP that was able to surpass the quotient and to obtain a mandate as MP in the next parliament. He took the place of the leader of DP in the district of Elbasan, Eugen Isai.
This is the preliminary list of candidates that have won in Elbasan, as CEC has yet to certify the results, depending on contests that could arise from particular political groups.
