COVID-19 claims lives of 15, in Albania, daily cases keep steady

15 people lost their lives to COVID-19 today, in Albania. The statistics published by the Ministry of Health, confirm that the number of new cases in the last 24 hours was 448.

The COVID designated hospitals in Tirana, as well as three regional hospitals, are currently treating 357 patients, 19 of whom in the ICU and 7 intubated.

The most affected county remains to be Tirana, which also reports the highest numbers of new daily cases and fatalities.

The coronavirus has claimed the lives of 2171 people in Albania. The current numbers of active cases remain concerning.

In order to increase the number of vaccines, the Albanian government has agreed to also procure vaccines from Russia and China.
