In CEAZ no. 22 in Durres, an incident was reported after the Democratic Party raised allegation that in some ballot boxes, there were more votes that didn’t belong to that voting center. They also reported a larger number of ballot papers compared to the actual number of voters.
“We have found a number of ballot papers in this ballot box that shouldn’t have been there, as the number of votes is higher than the number of voters. There are around 8-7 ballots,” said the director of CEAZ no. 22 in Durres.
The director of this center has also reported on discrepancies in the mode of communication of several members of this CEAZ, who according to him, are trying to hide the discrepancies and errors that happen during the counting process, by preventing other members from taking note of them and putting them on the record.
The Socialist Party members defended themselves by saying that voters were the ones, who put the ballots in the wrong box and that the boxes were also close to one another.
