After losing the elections on April 25th, during its Leadership’s latest meeting, the Democratic Party has decided to begin a process of analysis.
Alongside its claims for an ‘electoral massacre’, DP is expected to also analyze the work carried out by its structures in every group and level, where each leader will be facing the results they were able to achieve, in addition to the stipulated objectives.
In the majority of counties, even in those pertaining to two or more political leaders, the results of these elections, were much lower than the targets that were preset by DP.
Belind Këlliçi, Agron Shehaj, Albana Vokshi and Aldo Bumçi are the only political leaders on a national scale, to have reached their set objectives.
In regards to the methodology, the claims of theft, vote-rigging or any other kind of irregularity, the party structures will be presenting their backed-up data, in a form that has been approved by the Leadership.
Within July 1st, the party branches will have to submit their electoral results analysis, including the parameters of their performance in relation to their objectives.
DP’s Chair, Lulzim Basha, declared before his leadership that democrats should prepare for the continuation of the battle.
“Our duty is to prepare for this faceoff, through all forms and mediums. A faceoff, which needs the Democratic Party to be ready to complete its duty against this regime, as soon as possible, because Albania, Albanians and the democrats cannot wait to 2025,” said Basha.
The analysis process is expected to last until September 30th. In addition, DP has approved the call of the National Assembly on July 17th, which will assess the possibility for amendments to the statute.
