If the Open Balkan remains unregulated, it risks harming small economies to empower large ones.
This was the statement made by Andi Bushati on Shock, as he criticized the Open Balkan initiative for leaving Kosovo out.
According to the analyst, the Open Balkans is an alliance tied by Tirana and Belgrade on the back of Kosovo.
“Bypassing Kosovo at the Open Balkans is detrimental to its economy. The Open Balkan is harmful to small economies if it remains unregulated. That is why the EU has put up mechanisms to defend countries that are weaker. The Rama-Vucic initiative prioritizes the Serbian economy in order to become the largest economy in the region”, said Bushati.
