Albanian doctor made a call for help on Friday amid concerns that the Albanian community living in Ukraine is at risk of starvation.

Dr. Gazi Zeka lives in Poland, where he launched an initiative to send aid to Albanians living mainly in Odesa and Zaporizhzhia.

He is now calling on others to contribute to helping Albanians trapped in the war.

He said that the situation is ‘grave’, especially in the surrounded city of Zaporizhzhia.

“Please Albanians, let’s help out our fellow citizens who are isolated and risk dying of hunger. The Albanian people must take care of them, we need to collect aid for the Albanian people who are in an incredibly difficult situation. Albanians are surrounded in Zaporizhzhia”, appealed the doctor.
