The leader of the Socialist Party, Edi Rama, held a meeting on Sunday with students and professors in Vlora.

Rama spoke about the qualitative improvements that, according to him, the university system has undergone in recent years, as well as projects to further develop it.

He stated that one of the goals is the opening of the Aviation Academy in Vlora, aiming for it to be a regional academy, welcoming foreign students as well, to train pilots for all types of aircraft.

“We will open the Aviation Academy in Vlora, and the goal is for it to be a regional academy, where we will also have foreign students to train pilots for all types of flying vehicles. I’m very pleased that this has already begun, because next we need to strengthen the other part related to the maritime industry. Soon, we will also have another agreement with Italy’s Fincantieri to revitalize the ship maintenance and construction yards here in Vlora,” said Rama.
