Amid ovations of victory, the mayor of Tirana and leader of the Socialist Party in the electoral district, Erion Veliaj announced this morning that SP has won 52.4% of votes in Tirana’s administrative division no. 1.

“I believe that the message is strong and clear pointing to our support, we are much more than everyone else put together in this administrative division but this doesn’t mean that we won’t serve the others as well. I would like to organize a tour shaking the hand of all of those that think differently from us,” said Veliaj.

“It is a very strong mandate in order to serve, to roll our sleeves and to do a lot of good work in Tirana’s administrative division no. 1,” added the mayor.

Veliaj also forewarned a long beautiful day in the headquarters of SP, where there will be updates every 30 minutes.

The mayor also made a call for the closing of the ballot counting process as soon as possible.
