“Take my hand, accept my world” is the latest performance to take the stage at the Puppet Theater, featuring children with disabilities as its stars. These young performers will showcase their talents in singing, dancing, instrumental music, and acting.
For the first time, they will bring the fairy tale Hansel & Gretel to life on stage using handcrafted, recyclable puppets made with great care by Shegushe Bebeti, the creator and producer of the project.
“This is a project developed with children with disabilities, where the children themselves will be the performers. It’s an inclusive initiative that features instrumentalists, dancers, actors, and various performers,” said Bebeti.
“A truly emancipated society shows its maturity through the attention and care it gives to those who genuinely need support. My relationship with these children moves me deeply—they are such angels, so kind. All it takes is love,” said actor Neritan Liçaj.
The performance will also include some heartfelt surprises.
“At the very end, there will be a beautiful surprise for the mothers. They will all be invited on stage, because they are the real heroines who fight every day, with love and support, to help their children grow,” added Bebeti.
The project carries an important message: “Diversity must be recognized, accepted, and supported.”
What makes this event even more special is that all proceeds will go directly to the talented children who performed in the show.
