Update: Results for 12 districts, find out which parties are on the lead

The counting process continues throughout the country’s 12 districts. According to data provided by the Central Election Commission and analyzed from Euronews Albania, the Socialist Party is the frontrunner in these elections.

In the district of Shkodra, the Democrats are leading with 40.4% of the votes compared to 28.6% for the Socialists, meanwhile SMI has secured 8.1% of the votes. Click here to see the interactive map.

In the district of Kukes, the Democratic Party is the main contender with 64.45% of the votes, while the Socialists are at 34.04%, and the SMI 0.11%. Click here to see the interactive map.

Also, based on the data updated from CEC, DP is also leading in the district of Lezha with 45.1% of the votes, compared to 42.65% of the votes for the Socialist Party, and SMI 7.8%. Click here to see the interactive map.

Meanwhile, the Socialist Party is in the lead in the district of Dibra with 46.29% of the votes, while the DP has so far received 43.75%, followed by the SMI with 6.71%. Click here to see the interactive map.

The Socialist Party is also leading in the district of Durres with 66.91% of the votes, meanwhile the Democrats are 29.52% and the SMI 1.36%. Click here to see the interactive map.

The Socialists are ahead in the district of Tirana, which has the biggest number of mandates, with 51.96% of the votes, followed by the Democrats who have secured 35.51% of the votes so far, and the SMI 6.37%. Click here to see the interactive map.

Also, the Socialists are the frontrunners in the district of Elbasan, with 55.27% of the votes cast for the SP, 37.31% for the DP, and 4.32% for SMI. Click here to see the interactive map.

Data provided by CEC confirm that the Socialists are at the forefront in the district of Fier, respectively with 52.39% of the votes, as opposed to Democrats with 38.82%, and SMI 5.44%. Click here to see the interactive map.

In the district of Berat, SP is ahead with 54.67% of the votes, while the DP has only secured 29.96% of the votes so far, and the SMI 13.15%. Click here to see the interactive map.

In Korça, Socialists have secured 49.64% of the votes, followed by the Democrats with 38.87% and SMI 8.67%. Click here to see the interactive map.

In Vlora, the district where PM Edi Rama is running for MP, the Socialists have secured 59.74% of the votes, DP 30.58%, and SMI 6.32%. Click here to see the interactive map.
