{"id":10088,"date":"2021-04-08T19:55:51","date_gmt":"2021-04-08T19:55:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=10088"},"modified":"2021-04-08T20:03:13","modified_gmt":"2021-04-08T20:03:13","slug":"forecast-of-april-25th-results-threshold-between-sp-and-dp-narrows-smi-declines","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/forecast-of-april-25th-results-threshold-between-sp-and-dp-narrows-smi-declines\/","title":{"rendered":"Forecast of April 25th results: Threshold between SP and DP narrows, SMI declines"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If the April 25<sup>th<\/sup> elections would be held next Sunday, the Socialist and Democratic parties would be getting the majority of the votes, almost 90% in total.<\/p>\n<p>The fourth national survey consisting of interview conducted in the timespan March 7<sup>th<\/sup>&#8211; 31<sup>st<\/sup>, predicts that 49% of votes will go to SP and 40.5% to DP.<\/p>\n<p>The survey didn\u2019t only include participants that have declared their vote, but also undetermined voters, who were asked a set of carefully analyzed and specific questions in order to understand who their vote would go for.<\/p>\n<p>According to this forecast, the Socialist Movement for Integration (SMI) will only be getting 6% of the votes on a national level, whereas 4.5% would be going to smaller political subjects racing on April 25<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Forecast of results: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SP \u2013 49%<\/li>\n<li>DP \u2013 40.5%<\/li>\n<li>SMI \u2013 6%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Compared to the results of the parliamentary elections of 2017, there is an increase by 11.6 percentage points for DP and a decline by 8.3 percentage points for SMI, which in the last elections raced separately. In addition, SP, which in the last elections was able to get 48.3% of the votes, has seen a slight rise by 0.7%.<\/p>\n<p>The large decline in SMI\u2019s result is also noticeable in the changes compared to the first survey conducted by MRB and Euronews Albania. From 11.2% in the first forecast, it has now dropped to 6%.
