The candidate for MP of the Democratic Conviction, Arben Sk\u00ebnderi, said that the dominant political parties are the reason and cause of the country\u2019s current state.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody is talking about changing the system, but where does that start from? These are the same people, they are the reason and the cause of the current state, but at the same time, they want to be the solution to it all. That\u2019s impossible\u201d, sad Sk\u00ebnderi.<\/p>\n

Appearing as a guest on Euronews Albania\u2019s weekly \u201cIlva Now\u201d, the MP candidate believes that traditional parties are dreaded by the idea that new forces might potentially enter the Albanian parliament.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe idea that other alternatives might be entering the parliament horrors them. This is the issue\u201d, he stated.<\/p>\n

According to him, unlike previous years, citizens have the opportunity to choose among different alternatives and this has led candidates to campaign for the party, not for themselves.<\/p>\n

Sk\u00ebnderi explained that his party\u2019s target group are people that want a \u201cnormal approach\u201d, \u201cfree from violence or political pressures\u201d.<\/p>\n

His message to the so-called grey electorate, commonly referred to as voters that are \u201cdistrustful of the political classes\u201d, was that this time they have \u201can alternative on whom to vote for\u201d.<\/p>\n

The Democratic Conviction candidate said that people no longer want to vote for political parties, but for individuals instead.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople want to vote for personalities. They want to know whom and why they\u2019re casting the vote for\u201d, concluded Sk\u00ebnderi.<\/p>\n
