{"id":10436,"date":"2021-04-14T18:51:36","date_gmt":"2021-04-14T18:51:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/?p=10436"},"modified":"2021-04-14T18:53:25","modified_gmt":"2021-04-14T18:53:25","slug":"bushati-and-haxhiu-discuss-whether-sps-negative-campaign-on-basha-is-paying-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/euronews.al\/en\/bushati-and-haxhiu-discuss-whether-sps-negative-campaign-on-basha-is-paying-off\/","title":{"rendered":"Shock | Bushati and Haxhiu discuss whether SP\u2019s negative campaign on Basha is paying off"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"Euronews\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The negative campaign of the Socialist Party against their Democratic opponent Lulzim Basha was one of the themes discussed tonight on &#8220;Shock&#8221; between Andi Bushati and Baton Haxhiu. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Euronews\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">According to Haxhiu, \u201cthe negative campaign is hurting Basha\u201d and explained that the metaphor being used on him as a lethargic person is tied to his \u201cpolitical powerlessness\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Euronews\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">But to Bushati, the ads of the Socialist Party are not innovative and have been seen even in past elections, which he described as \u201cstagnation in creativity\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Euronews\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u201cWhen you don\u2019t have a balance, you start avoiding the campaign, and focusing on your opponents&#8217; weak points\u201d, he said. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Euronews\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Baton Haxhiu added that the negative campaign is mainly intended for \u201cundecided voters\u201d. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"Euronews\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">\u201cThe SP says that Basha will not achieve anything as a prime minister and makes a reference to the time when he was the mayor of Tirana.
